rebuilt Chevy 350, MSD electronic ignition, 600 cfm Edelbrock, rebuilt 700R4 O D, Lokar shifter, cooled with a premium aluminum radiator, thermostat switch for fans (upper 'puller', lower 'pusher').
The modified chassis is built for a perfect stance with Heidts IFS with original steering column adapted to power rack & pinion.
4 wheel power discs; Ford 9 rear; modified ladder bars; Panhard bar; coil-overs.
Premium 15 wire wheels evoke the final year for wires on Chevy pickups (rear P245/60R15, front P215/60R15).
The coach-built cab was totally rebuilt including all new wood cab mounts, structure, and door frames.
The distinctive wood grain frames the leather covered insulated interior panels.
All NEW:
latch hardware, glass, leather headliner, custom carpet, a smart looking cluster of black faced Auto Meter gauges mounted in 'engine turned' polished dash panel with leather surround, Vintage Air, in-cab battery disconnect switch, turn signals, 3rd brake light, gas tank, bumpers (rear bumper with brackets and wheel trim rings are included but not mounted), bed wood/SS skid strips, in the desirable FULL DEPTH bed.
Original equipment:
dual rear view mirrors, tilt-out windshield, cowl vent.
As indicated in photos, the 4-piece hood can be configured as original or a 2-piece hood top for better air flow.
This unique pickup has patina consisting of some original paint (including remnants of factory pinstriping on the belt-line) and faux patina to emulate natural weathering.
The cam loping sound of dual stainless mufflers enhances head turning attention and car show interest of this unique - rarer than Ford - truck.
