One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes (1) reviewing data requests utilizing electronic monitoring instruments to detect abnormal conditions and; (2) performing readiness checks on all operation center equipment. OR Education:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as:
emergency management or business management. OR Combination of Education and
Experience:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. Time in Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07). Specialized Experience for GS-11:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes (1) providing recommendations to higher headquarters on unusual emergency situations for appropriate course of action; (2) examining, analyzing and interpreting data from a variety of electronic monitoring instruments such as D2PUFF Hazard Prediction Model and WEBPUFF to detect abnormal conditions; and (3) performing function/readiness checks on all operation center equipment OR Education:
Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as emergency management or operation management. (Note:

Experience:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
