Brief Description of Duties:
Responsible for developing objectives, policies and programs for sales and marketing activities of the designated industry. Plans and conducts customer visits with existing and newly identified customer opportunities. Assist in customer service activities such as customer inquiries, field service inquiries, and assist in responding to post sales activities as required. Maintain solid customer relations and contacts. Provide consistent and constant account analysis and forecasts to inside sales and the VP as required. Proved sales and product information, and assist trade show events, and professional associations as needed. This position will require up to 75% travel and the candidate should reside within one and half (1.5 hrs) ground travel time from a major airport.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a 4 year Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering field, with at least three (3) years in a progressive sales position with specialty products, preferably in the Materials Handling Market, with advanced Marketing and Sales Experience.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires a lifting capability of 40 lbs., unassisted. Hearing and speaking is a required condition of employment of this position. Must work with occasional exposure to industrial or environmental noise, fumes, smoke, dust etc. Must possess the ability to maneuver in manufacturing or construction site environments.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
